Brussels!
Good news!!! Picasa has magically decided to work so I celebrated by uploading a lot of pics from Brussels, there are some 300 pics for your viewing pleasure. Although a bit of bad news picasa is a bit stupid and uploaded some of them sideways, I thought I had fixed that in windows but it hadnt processed or something, I'm just glad I can put a lot of pics up...they are here
What we did in Brussels was:
First got stuck in the train station trying to find an atm to get euros, so we really knew the layout by the time we took the metro.
Then we got on one of those fabulously dorky tour buses that take you past all the big attractions
We got off for food which of course meant belgian waffles, one of the stupid girls in our school group asked while on the train what would we do if we wanted to order an american waffle like an eggo and I wanted to slap her because who asks for something other than a belgian waffle in belgium?
Then we took the bus to the atomunium which is like a 25 times larger size of an actual atom which i geeked out about for all my science friends
And then one of the best things in my life, mini europe that contains mini models of all of europes great buildings, and you cant be there without taking godzilla pictures.
Then we had to find the peeing boy which is really popular for some reason, we saw the Grand Place which is the most beautiful square in Europe , and then of course we bought Chocolate.
Going home on the train I felt I had to document going through the chunnel even though you cant see anything so I took lots of stupid pics with Mary Beth.
Hope you enjoy!

My adventures continued
Yeah so it has been a long time since I said I would update, but here I am now. I wanted to throw in this funny photoshopped pic from the pier:
But after that we had a Saturday excursion to Stonehenge and Bath, which was very interesting. It started out that instead of the 2 buses ordered only one showed up. So after much delays we left, because I made it on. But our tourguide was a total douche and cut our times at these places very short, threatened to leave us places, and lost half the group on tours. Despite all that I did have some fun in the small amount of time we had in places and took some fun pics.
Sheep!!!
Taken from the bus, but there are so many cows and sheep here and I wish I could pet them
Bath Abbey
View from the very small cafe we ate in
City of Bath
Inside the Roman Baths
Traditional English Countryside
I feel like I haven't uploaded nearly enough pics but it takes so long that I hope I have picked the best!

Are you my Bobby?
Well I had all these grand plans to post oodles of pictures of my adventures so far, but then I had to go and have fun and be too busy to do it. My weekend:
Thursday class then 2 hours later leaving for London to see The Merchant of Venice at the Globe, sadly there is a lack of lightsabers and thus Shylock is thwarted again.
Friday: London for a superspecial awesome day of seeing the changing of the guard, trafalgar square, piccadilly circus, a small bit of Covent Guarden, Harry Potter in Leicester SQ which was huge and awesome, and a totally awesome concert at the Tower of London involving James Morrison and Rushmore.
Saturday and Sunday I will be in Paris, which I'm leaving for in like 4 hours, so I need to shower, pack and sleep.
So I won't be able to post until Monday probably although that may be sketchy as I have a paper due this coming Thursday, but do not fear I shall post all eventually!
P.S. can you tell I think England is awesome?

Rest of 1st week
So the end of the week I got to see Spamalot on the West End, Mary Beth was supposed to come too but it conflicted with her class and we couldn't sell both the tickets, but I still had a lot of fun because Spamalot is awesome! On the way there I saw a pub called the Samuel Johnson which I freaked out about and on the way back i got to take a pic of the London Eye lit up at night!
So then the next day we finally went into Brighton, which is awesome and I wish I could live here forever. I love seaside towns because the weather is always great and I love the sea.
Here is a picture of the Lanes which are small alleys of shops, I love it cause it makes me think of Diagon Alley.
And here's the pier
The pier includes Horatio's bar which I have not been to but looks very awesome
The crazy sea spray that day. I wasn't paying attention and some got me while standing on the pier, I felt very silly.
Fish and Chips!!! The restaurant we went to claimed to have world famous ones but all their ads had people who were way too happy and frankly creeped me out
I found the section in the bookstore that made me happy!
And here's the picture of me on the pier after I had been splashed with water. It was an awesome day in Brighton.

Cheers mates!
So, I have been abroad for almost 3 weeks without sending out emails, pics, or any kind of updates which is just not cool. In my defense the internets here have to go through a proxy that messes up programs like aim, itunes, and picasa which I would have used to make web albums with. So to make up for it I shall post all my adventures to my newly created blog since live journal won't let me upload pics from files, starting with today which will be a bombardment of all my happennings. So...the flight here was normal, cramped and with suspicious food, the movies sucked, I think I watched the Holiday and parts of Wild Hogs. But I got awesome pics out the window!
I was pretty jet lagged but still went into London for the day before having some orientation stuff with ifsa Butler. I left the dinner thing early so I could watch Dr. Who in England because it's awesome!!! The next day we headed to University of Sussex and it's pretty cool here. The first weekend it was torential rains but now it has cleared up and we're having beautiful 65 degree weather. I have a small single room which I love, but which of course has paper thin walls so I get to hear a lot of whats going on with my house mates. My room:
I have no idea how to work the adding pictures to my blog thing so hopefully my layout will improve over time. But overall its great here. The maps they have of campus scared me at first because I thought it was huge and I would get lost but they just have silly maps that exagerate it. Some of the buildings are modern and supposed to look like things, like the library should be an open book which i totally don't see and another building is a camera. When I take pics I shall post them. But back to my happennings, the rest of the first week was just basically settling in. We had orientation where they stressed me out by claiming the classes were so different here and we would have to do so much more work and then it turned out they're exactly like my classes at home. I'm taking a class about Shakespeare's plays and all we do is read articles or plays and then discuss them. It's a class of 8 people so maybe I have to talk a bit more but no drastic change. My teacher is super nice so it's a fun class to be in. I can't believe it will be over next week, and that I have to write a paper for it, boo papers, but tomorrow we're going to see The Merchant of Venice at the Globe so I'm super excited about that. Well that's all the basics of the University I can think of so I think I'll end this post so my next one can be all about adventures!
